Went for the Family Day NDP that day, very hot day, haven't sweat so much for so long. Bought the tickets online from Kevin at 10bucks, it was worth it as NDP has left me with very fond memories. Memories of past NDP year 1998 and 2001 being in the choir and cheerleading respectively, love NDP so much that I joined the cheerleading in JC volunteerily. To think about it, I feel that I must be not thinking quite right that time....spending my weekends aways under the scouching hot sun in Kallang, squeezing with all other participants just to get a seat on the ground to munch on our KFC/Pizza Hut meals, staying back after lessons just to practise our steps, changing in toilets that have extremely long queues!...
But I must say that joining the NDP has got fond memories for me too, the excitement of being in this great show, the joy of having fun and working hard together with my friends, extremely beautiful and fascinating fireworks, great performance, knowing that all of us performace with one heart for our nation....all in all... I felt that the hard work was paid off during the actual day itself..=)
